Some say oversized-on-oversized is a no-no. But lol, some say anything. The internet is full of contradictory advice. That’s why I think it’s less important to follow a specific piece of advice, and more important to learn to notice and question the deeper concepts behind them.
Like: Do I want to make a look that feels easy for others to read today? Or am I okay with a little friction — a little unexpectedness — in my outfit? Not in a “being different just to be different” way, but as a reminder that I get to decide what makes sense for me.
Whatever my answers are, I try to hold them lightly. Because they might change the next day, and that’s perfectly okay. 🙂
